During its fifty-seven-year history, the Sports Club has played a major role in the development of youth sports for boys and girls and for the acquisition of professional sports teams in the Tampa Bay community. Through past annual Sports Club Awards banquets, the Club’s Charity has raised and contributed over one million dollars to assist Tampa Bay area youth teams and individuals in sports endeavors, especially the Boys and Girls Clubs of Tampa.
